Figs have always grown in our olive groves. Until twenty years ago, they were enjoyed as an afternoon snack, eaten directly in the countryside, then picked and brought home to be shared with family and friends. Later, they were left there, at the mercy of wild boars, fallen to the ground or worse, abandoned to rot on the trees.

We decided to give these figs a new life by turning them into a mustard made with only fruit, brown sugar, lemon juice, and finally, mustard essence. The taste is balanced, delicate, and not overly sweet, with the addition of mustard giving it character. This mustard is perfect to pair with cheese, boiled meats, or to use in gourmet recipes.

No preservatives, colorings, or artificial flavourings.
