I’M GIADA, I’M A YOUNG WOMAN AND I DON’T LIKE COMPROMISES. I WANT TO ACT, CHANGE. I REINVENTED MYSELF AND FOUNDED PETRICOR.

I’m Giada. Born and raised in a small town in Liguria di Ponente inhabited by only 100 souls and 100.000 olive trees. I come from a proud farmer family even though today we are called agricultural entrepreneurs. I’ve always liked to learn but I wouldn’t consider myself particularly studious. I am rather curious, attentive to details and the little things.

Two years before finishing high school I’d already found the university I wanted to go to. My mind was made up from the beginning and my passion for food led me towards gastronomic sciences. At Pollenzo I had the chance to discover more about wine and I fell head over heels. I wanted to know it all and taste it all. Wine was my first great true passion and overtime I managed to make it my profession. Now It has become a conscious pleasure.

I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE FOUND A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT WERE VERY DIFFERENT FROM ME: DIFFERENT PERSONALITY, NATIONALITY, AMBITION, CULTURE AND BACKGROUND WISE.

Travelling  was a key aspect of my formative years, I was seeking for my true self and discovered, ate, and heard amazing things. I was lucky to have found a group of people that were very different from me personality, nationality, ambition, culture and background wise. Each of them left a trace on me, and gave me something.

At the age of 25 I decided to return to my land, to the constant breeze, the bright colors and the scent of the arid ground after a storm. I came back to my olive groves, in the midst of which I found independence and freedom. It was at that moment that I understood what I wanted to become when I grew up: a farmer.

WE’RE FAMILY

WE’RE PEOPLE THAT BELIEVE IN A PROJECT

We’re a family of farmers who don’t like to be defined as such.

We’re constantly reinventing ourselves, facing new challenges and believing in a project of sustainable agriculture that is ultimately a life project.

We’re sensitive and we go after our own shared-dreams.

We’re so many things and desire to do much more.
